Thermoplastic Elastomers

Thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) are significantly less permeable than silicone. Each Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics TPE formulation starts with a base polymer, and is then modified to optimize physical and chemical performance without compromising biocompatibility or flexibility. C-Flex®, the material used in many of our TPE products, is a unique patented thermoplastic elastomer specifically engineered to meet the critical demands of the pharmaceutical, medical and biotech industries.
